My Post Relaxer Growth Management tips between, the 8 to 12 week mark look a little like this:

1. I use heat …. what? During my wash day, after my conditioning process, I section my hair out and use cold air for drying. This allows my growth to stretch out, making it easier to manipulate for the rest of the week.

2. I then choose a style and I stick with it. If I choose to bun my hair, I keep the same bun, and refresh the edges and bun each morning. I just make sure I’m not over manipulating my hair if I don’t need to.

3. Castor Oil is my friend. I continue to massage castor oil on my hairline. My hairline is weak and during this stage, it’s extra sensitive as it’s shorter than the rest – with its two textures. I’m literally obsessed with massaging castor oil on my edges. I need my edges to GROW … who’s with me on that?

4. Moisture is now my closest bestest friend – I now concentrate my moisturiser on my new growth, and my tips – then seal with my trusted coconut oil.
