Your thoughts matter to me

Hey guys ….

Growth is a great thing for anyone, but sometimes it seems like the connection that was once there is threatened. I’d hate for that to happen as I’ve made really strong connections on these platforms…

Would love your thoughts, ideas, concerns, comments on  what you’d like to see more of on phrophro and the facebook community. I’m also thinking of creating new video tutorials, but would like to get an idea of what you’d like to see. This is all inline with my goal … which is to get women understanding how to nurture their hair.

Please let me know by either sending me an email  phrophro@ymail.com, or using the contact form on http://www.phrophro.com/about with your thoughts.

What you say is really important to me … looking forward to hearing your voices.  Have a good weekend!

I recently did the Big Chop and went bald. My hair was really damaged and I decided that if I am to go on the challenge, I am going to start from ground zero. I would like to see a section on phrophro that keeps updates on women/men who were bold to go bald and started from scratch or who at least had a TWA (teeny weeny afro). Although your challenges and updates are great, it is kinda hard to relate because you already have really long hair.

    1. That’s a really good point. I have updated http://www.phrophro.com/about with my hair at its weakest … appalling. I must say though, I’m not about length, but health no matter how long your hair happens to be. I totally believe that when you get your hair healthy and minimizing its breakage, that’s when you realise growth. I”ve done a few interviews with different women. If you go to the right side of my blog, I’ve dedicated Hair Topics that flesh out a particular subject. One of my favourite ones is ‘natural hair’. Please check it out for hairspiration … :)

    Hie phro
Thank you so much for you inspiration.Started the castor oil challenge on the 1st of June and already I can see tremendous benefits.
I do an overnight prepoo my hair with olive oil and I wash it and then I deep condition it with Dr Miracles(don’t know if you know it).
My issue is the drying part and what to do with my hair when it is wet.I sun dry it but my hair gets frizzy on the ends……and it gets bushy.I have a lot of hair but its thin and its of medium length.
What products can I use to prevent this

    1. Hi tafadzwa,

      Thanks for your kinds words.

While your hair is wet, glide a carrier oil on it. This seals in the moisture, concentrate on your driest part, which seems to be your ends. Then after it air dries, you can try wrapping your hair. I don’t use heat on my hair because it saps all the moisture that your hair needs. Check out this post on the wrapping tutorial – http://phrophro.com/2011/07/24/wrapping-hair-in-pictures/.

      I hope this helps.
