Phro’s Hair in March

Hey Guys,

Just a quick one to show you how long my hair is now.

I’ve officially moved away from using Dark n Lovely, back to my first love, Soft n Beautiful. Please note, this is not an official recommendation, but personally I felt like Dark n Lovely was a bit more harsh.

The formal 1/2 yearly length check will be coming in June. So please stay tuned and get your friends on this :)

    Hi. luvn ur blog cos we seem to hav the same hair issues. I used Dark and Lovely for years cos it was the only relaxer that seemed to work but realised its just too strong. My scalp is sensitive but my hair is thick and resistant so I almost always got burnt and my hair was startn to get extremely brittle. Recenly switched to Creme of Nature and what a difference. Do u think sticking to 1 relaxer for too long causes problems down the line???

    1. Yours is a very good question. The fact of the matter is, you are placing chemicals on your hair and in direct contact of your scalp. Continuous use of extreme chemicals is never a good thing. This is why it’s advisable to stretch as much as possible between relaxers, and provide treatments to your scalp and hair on an ongoing basis. 6 weeks is too short between relaxers. Touching up four times a year should be a standard, or less if possible.

      I’m doing further study on these chemicals which could take months. But the information above is what you should base your frequency of use on.
